Training Session 1

Initial Training Session

  • OBNit Client Area
The client area is a critical vessel for us to communicate with our clients. Clients that utilize the client area are able to communicate with our team their support concerns as well as pay their invoice and manage their account.

  • Logging In
To log in for the first time to your client area, you will need to request a password reset, to do so click here.

    • You will be asked for your email to reset your password, enter the email address that you have on file with us.

    • After entering your email you may be asked to verify your identity by entering the last 4 digits of your billing information you have on file for your account. This is to ensure security in our system and is a standard verification method in the support department.

      • Once you enter your email, you will be sent an email with a link to reset your password.
When you log-in you should see the following screen.

  • Create a Ticket
Support tickets are our way of communicating with you and addressing your issues.
To open a support ticket you can use two different methods:

    • When you log into your client area you can go to the top grey navigation bar and click “Open Ticket” to generate a support ticket

    • You can also click “Open a New Ticket” at the bottom of your client area as shown in the image below.

    • If you click on the “Billing” tab in the grey navigation bar you will see “Manage Credit Card”

  • Add a Contact
Many times our clients need to add contacts to their account. Adding a contact to your account means that if that person needs to reach support they are verified to speak with us regarding your site. A lot of times there is a business partner or employee maintenancing the site, these people should be contacts on your account. It is very easy and simple to create a new contact.

    • On the mainpage of the OBNit Client area you will see your account information, next to those details there will be a link to update your details. By clicking on this link you can add a contact to the site by clicking the tab that says contacts/sub-accounts as seen below.
    • You can also go to the grey Navigation bar and click on the Hello, [Your Name]! tab, this will take you to a main control drop down where you can do several things, one of them being add a contact by clicking on the Contacts/Sub-Accounts option.

  • View Projects
Projects are a way for you and our team to track the work being done on your site.

    • To view your projects go to the "Services" tab in the Grey Navigation bar, from there you can select "My Projects" to view progress on a project
    • In this tab you can also view and order new services, for example, if you wanted to add an additional SEO package to your site you could do so through this tab.

    • View Invoices
For your convenience, invoices can be viewed and paid in the OBN client area.

      • To do so, click on the Billing tab in the grey navigation bar, this will show you a drop down, click on “My Invoices” to view and pay your invoices.

When the 48 hours have passed and if we have not heard from a client the project moves along to support and any design changes after that are considered apart of the client's monthly design hour alottment.
