Banner Manager - Edit Existing Banners

The Banner Manager allows designers and developers to specify areas for text or images that can be easily updated through the administraion area and that record users' interaction with their content. This article will explain how to edit banners.

1. Log into Admin Area. Find Banner Manager under "Tools"

2. If banners have been created on your site, they will be listed on the first screen of the banner manager. Select the banner you want to edit, and click "edit""

3. If you want your banner to feature a new image, upload it in place using the "Choose File" button. Select a new file from your computer, and it will replace the image that had previously been displayed within this banner. Alternately, if you know the url of an existing image, you can type the name in the field below the "Choose File" button.

4. If you want your banner to consist of text, text can be entered in the text box. It can be formatted with HTML.

5. Click "Insert" to complete your banner

B. A banner can contain images or HTML text, but not both.

C. Each banner tracks the number of views and clicks that it receives, giving site owners and administrators insight on what content generates favorable interaction from viewers.
