This option allows you to fill in the meta tags added by Header Tags. Select the appropriate setting for both the categories and products tags and then click Update. If you select the Fill Only Empty Tags, then tags already filled in will not be overwritten. If the Fill products meta description with Products Description option is chosen, then the meta description tag will be filled with the products description. If a number is entered into the length box, the description will be truncated to that length.

Step 1: First, we are going to make a new tab and go to the back end of our site.

Step 2: To gain access, you will need to log in.

Step 3: Once you are logged in, located the gray bar. Hover over "Info Manager".

Step 4: A number of options will now be available but we want to hover down the list to "Fill Tags" and click it.

Step 5: You will see options to automatically fill in all appropriate standard tags for all categories, all manufacturers, and all products. For each of these sorts of pages, you can skip and not fill them in, fill only empty tags, fill all tags and overwrite old tags, or simply remove all tags.

Step 6: If the Fill products meta description with Products Description option is chosen, then the meta description tag will be filled with the products description.

Step 7: If a number is entered into the length box, the description will be truncated to that length.

Step 8: Don't forget to click the blue button at the bottom to save your changes!
