Updating page meta tags was discussed on Text Control. Page Control allows you to add meta tags to other pages not listed on that page. Please read and complete the Text Control instructions before moving on to page control. Location: Admin Area>Info Manager>Page Control Step 1: First, we are going to make a new tab and go to the back end of our site. Step 2: To gain access, you will need to log in. Step 3: Text Control, shown below, should be done before page control. You were able to create specific page titles for your index page, your product information page, your new products page, your specials page, and your reviews. If there are other pages you want to give custom titles, you can customize these pages similarly to the customization on the text control page through the page control page. Step 4: Once you are logged in, located the gray bar. Hover over "Info Manager". Step 5: A number of options will now be available but we want to hover down the list to "Page Control" and click it. Step 6: You must know the name of the existing page for which you want to add meta information. For example, if you want to add to your contact us page, type "contact_us" into the name field, since the name of your contact us page is yoursite.com/contact_us.php. Step 7: Type your desired tags, then click the "Update" button immediately below these fields. Step 8: You can also delete a set of meta tags from a page by choosing an existing page from the drop down following those text fields. Need help? Have questions or don't have the time?
